Lots of locals also host in their homes through Air B & B. Holmfirth also has it’s own well situated Caravan & Camping Site. The only paid events are the concerts in the Old Bridge function room and the Ceilidh. The line-up will include old festival favourites and lots of new or local talent. Holmfirth Film Festival – presents an exciting programme of this year’s films from both here and abroad, award winning movies, the great films from last year that escaped attention, the lost gems of British cinema and those that we simply believe you have got to see. Events take place in quirky venues throughout the area, including major talks on film. Holmfirth Artweek – is a local event with a national reputation. The majority of the exhibitors are from this area but large numbers of visitors come from all over the country to view and to buy. Holmfirth Artweek is a fundraising event, with all proceeds being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
